Thank you ; my mother and brother for caring so much for Jo, all friends who loved him, the vets who in different stages of his long life have played an important role; Dr. Gilles Pot(Corsica), Dr. Sylvie Proville(Principality of Monaco), Dr. Klaas Gianotten, nutrition and behaviour specialist Mrs. Marian van Setten-Kuypers and recently Dr. Diana van Driel, Feline Specialist (The Netherlands), the volunteers of the Dutch Animal Ambulance for their good work.

The Chapel

Early morning we would walk through the fields to the village of Ville di Paraso, getting the daily groceries, meeting local herders with their goats, in a straight line with our little dogs Sapeur and Indy followed by my Siamese cat Mamounia, our black cat Noireaude and Jo to cover our backs, the cheerful bunch from the convent-

Egyptian Mau ???

On the USA -Animal Planet- Cats 101 tv show an image of a cat very similar to Jo was used to present the Egyptian Mau, as you will quickly find out in the video, Jo with his very large marbled body and blue eyes isn't an Egyptian Mau but a lovely OS-Siamese x Corsican hybride, never the less we all agree; he's a star

Egyptian Maus are a small-medium sized, short-haired cat breed with green eyes, naturally spotted.
